Water, salty or sweet, I lap it up...

Look at this sea, doesn't it call to you?

Harlyn Bay
Harlyn Bay before 8am, a few surfers, some dog walkers, almost empty beach. The beautiful waves entranced me and before I knew it I was thigh deep in the water, alive and present in that moment.

If I told you that the journey to St Nectan's Glen, a waterfall near Tintagel, began with a holy well, a tiny slate church, an ancient stone and went on to a stream in a wood, would you think it might be my favourite place ever? Close to.

St Piran's Holy Well
St Piran's Holy well in Trethevy, the water was cool, sweet and clear. The sun was shining is shafts through the trees,

then the waterfall, sadly for us rather popular, but worth the walk up the slippery paths, fly agaric toadstools peeking out the the woodland ground and fish in the stream

St Nectan's Glen

I am so lucky to be able to visit such places.
