Happy St David's Day

My daffodils aren't out yet, this was from my garden last year, they're in bud though.
Today is foggy. I had my hair cut not quite as short as I wanted. Is it acceptable to get a hairdresser to redo a cut lots of times? She finished it once and I got her to do it again because it was to long, but she still didn't take as much off as I wanted her to. I'll like it more when it's settled down a bit, I think/hope.

Have a good end of the week, everyone.

There are some daffodils out in these parts, on those sunnier slopes, though most remain in bud too. Plenty of snowdrops still abound however and crocii... crocuses... crocopodes?! Erm, anyways, those little variously coloured flowers. Those good council folk have even planted some yellow ones in a little star shape along the road out of town. It, err, doesn't quite work!

Anyways, it's been all unnaturally warm and sunny here lately, I've really not known what to do with it. I look forward to the wet forecast for the weekend as I imagine will our drought hit regions. In my world though, when it comes to hair, I tend to take the general view that more is more. Unless you're a pixy. But maybe I'm biased. Being a wolf and all. Ahem. I shall give your regards to kitty this weekend! Take care, x.

more is more is a good maxim in general, but my hair was being annoying. It's differently annoying now, but has seemed to have settled down a bit. I don't think I want to spend any more money on getting it cut again, so I'll have to live with it.

Sigh.

Why don't the daffodil stars work? They sound nice. Hope you're enjoying the weekend.

Hm, well, variety is the spice of life perhaps? Ah well, hopefully your hair will yet settle down and find a less annoying arrangement atop your head. I haven't had money spent on cutting my hair for years and it seems to get on ok. Occasionally it swallows small birds as they fly by but then we all have to eat don't we? Erm.

Well, it's a crocus star and it just seemed there was a little too much green and not quite enough yellow so it looked a little threadbare. Possibly all the flowers aren't fully out yet so maybe it will improve and I suppose I can't fault the people for a little creativity. That being said it does still appear a little as one lone bit of creativity sat on a grass bank wondering where all the other flowers may have got to. I have only glimpsed it from the bus however so perhaps my view might change with a new look.

Anywho, hopes you be enjoying your weekend too!

Crocuses are quite green aren't they? As you say, perhaps the star design will look better later on, maybe it's waiting for another thing to bloom?

Bird eating hair? If we ever meet in person, I will be cautious of your carnivorous locks.

Well, the star rather takes up the whole space, (ooh, how close to being a pun! Ahem) so I can't see what else it might really go with. Still I shall be back that way sometime in the future so I shall see how it comes to look as the season progresses.

My hair does often tend to be quite a friendly sort of creature and often seems to need only the encouragment of the slightest breeze to try and get to know people better. I'm sure it wouldn't try to eat you though, I think it only goes in for smaller prey.
