Well, if The Sixth Sense taught us anything, and I get nearly all of my information about the world from Bruce Willis films, then the dead are generally pretty insensitive themselves and are apparently capable of going for days and weeks of people ignorning them and loved ones making the bed with them still in it and such without it actually twigging somethuing odd was happening. These inhuman monsters are an odd bunch.

Overstuffed cat was alive, at least the last time I saw it, but quite large and decidedly fluffy. Somewhat like a more tortoishell version of the creature I shall be visiting tomorrow.
